One of the medieval restaurants. Because of my camera does not have a wide-angle lens I clipped the lower portion, including the steps up which was lined by small real fire lanterns (with totally unprotected flames - such as would give our 'health and safety' people heart palpitations), although two of these can also be seen on the door frames.
The Peppersack has a website which is very much worth visiting - not just to read the menus but to see the internal photographs and video clip (make sure you turn on your sound!)
