A closer view of the other side. Hopefully the greenery seen to left is growing in a suitable container, such as a large flower pot, because if it is growing directly into the brickwork its roots will eventually make that brickwork unstable, and even collapse.
Although this image was taken on a Sunday afternoon it is assumed that the car was reversing away because it did not have a permit to enter the city centre restricted traffic zone - and did not want to be photographed by the overhead gantry mounted CCTV system located just beyond the arch used by traffic entering the city centre.
