1930's Bordeaux Motorbus
A genuine 1930's Bordeaux motorbus which operates tourist-orientated tours around the city outside the tourist office at 8.30am on a sunny July Monday morning. The tourist office can be found near to Quinconces tram stop, which is on Lines B and C.
In the background can be seen a tram on Line B (with its pantograph folded down) travelling along cours 30 julliet.
For much of the city centre Bordeaux's trams collect power from a road surface power system, and not the more usual overhead wires. Clicking this Bordeaux tram image will lead to a dedicated page showing more Bordeaux APS images in a popup window;

clicking here will open the page in a new full-size window.This tram is seen on quai richelieu, as it travels along a linking track to travel from Line C to Line A. The photograph was taken whilst standing on the crossover between the two lines. In the distance to the right can be seen the Porte De Bourgogne tramstop, which features four platforms, with those for Line A on the left and Line C on the right (the latter only partially seen here).
A battery electric bus running on a city centre service through narrow streets which despite its small size it still only just manages to negotiate.
